Lift and Store has moved heavy loads into unused spaces since 1992. It creates customized movable overhead lighting and storage solutions for all types of businesses. It has over 10,750 installations in every state and multiple countries.
How do I get a quote?
Do you need to use ladders if you have a Lift and Store system?
One of the many benefits of installing our machines is that employees will never need to use ladders again for operational tasks.
What safety features have you built into your system?
- Electric Motor Brake: Positively locks load in place at any position. Engages automatically when power is removed.
- Momentary Switches: Operator must be engaged with machine to operate. The releasing switch positively locks the machine in place.
- Free-fall Arrestor: In the unlikely case that motor and chain drive fail, arrestor positively stops load in inches
- Lifting Cables: Made of high strength aircraft grade steel, cables are rated to 2,500 pounds each. Melting point is over 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Fail safe switches: Double fail safe upper limit prevents machine from overwinding and causing damage.
What is the warranty of your products?
We have a 5 year mechanical and 1 year electrical component warranty. We expect and have experienced machines that exceed a 15-20 year life span.
How do I find out more information?
Is there a limit to the size and shape of a room your system works with?
There is no limit to the size or shape of an installation. We can custom design our installations to meet any size room.
What is the smallest distance you can move your machines?
Our machines can be moved in increments as small as 1 millimeter.
How much weight can your machines handle?
Our machines can handle up to 800 pounds per eight foot section, and even more using our “Hercules” lift.
How long does it take to complete an installation?
We usually can fulfill and deliver an order in six weeks. Installation times vary depending on size and complexity. This will be worked out as part of the quoting process.
Do you have installers?
Yes. We have installers that can work with you. We also have complete training manuals that are helpful if your contractors do the installation.
Can we install the machines ourselves?
We are happy to train your operations staff or contractors on how to install our machines or complete the installation for you.
Are your machines patented?
All of the machines for Lift and Grow and Lift and Store are patented or patent-pending.
Are your machines UL listed?
Yes. The board in the system is UL Listed, the motor is UL listed and the panel is built under an 809A license from UL, meaning it is built under the supervision of a UL inspector.
Do you have post-installation maintenance plans?
Your machine is a valuable asset that can’t be down. While our machines are designed to work in grueling environments for 20 years or more, there are still occasional issues that arise. At Lift & Store we offer end to end maintenance agreements with key service level commitments at a reasonable annual rate. Talk with your sales representative to find out more.
Can you work with our architect?
Absolutely. We prefer to take up contact with your architect as early in the process as possible.
